business units, third party logistics partners, and our global logistics supply chain team in Austria. Responsibilities includes coordination of all tasks related to our SAP based transportation management system and includes shipment tracking, invoicing, order processing, customer support, as well as supporting the Logistics Manager in process improvement projects. Job Description OPERATIONS SUPPORT Investigate and resolve problems through root cause analysis using various reports and data to resolve logistics challenges. Provide status of critical shipments and ensure inbound/outbound on time delivery. Interact with key personnel to monitor and develop processes to ensure accurate processing of orders and shipments. Establish strong working relationship with business units, distributors, logistics partners, and Operations team members to provide high levels of customer support. SHIPMENT MANAGEMENT Ensure daily processing of outbound transportation shipments through tracking, data review and standard operating procedures. Audit third party partner's carrier usage and transport mode choices to ensure proper selections are being utilized. Review, audit, and process outbound transportation invoicing to confirm payment and accuracy. Utilize the SAP TM system to process all shipment related data and perform ad hoc corrections to ensure shipments are not delayed. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT Identify areas of opportunity for operational improvement. Conduct ad hoc reporting & analysis on order and shipment data. Maintain documentation and procedures related to logistics policies and procedures. Prepared to assume additional tasks outside job description (as needed/directed). Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred ideally in a related field to the position requirements 1
year of experience related to supply chain and logistics operations preferred Outstanding customer service skills Vital organizational and problem-solving skills Interest in learning - become the subject matter expert people rely on Basic knowledge of logistics functions within SAP or a comparable ERP system is preferred Advanced analytical skills with Microsoft Excel Basic understanding of finance and invoicing functions Additional Information Our current Benefits include:
